Data Collection Operations Lead

The Role

Humaid captures human demonstrations inside working factories, warehouses and hospitality sites. Somebody has to make that run like clockwork: the right operators on the right tasks, calibrated rigs, clean handovers to the annotation team, and hard quality gates before anything is called a dataset.

That is this role. You will own capture operations end to end, from scheduling with partner sites to the final quality report.

What You'll Do

• Plan and run capture campaigns at partner sites: task lists, operator rosters, shift schedules and site coordination.
• Own the fleet of capture rigs — calibration, maintenance, firmware and spares — so no session is lost to hardware.
• Recruit, train and coach operators on task protocols, safety and consistency.
• Enforce quality gates on every session (sync, coverage, task completion) and hand clean data to the annotation and Data Science teams.
• Track throughput, yield and cost per usable hour, and report them weekly.
• Turn feedback from the ML and annotation teams into updated capture protocols.

Who You Are

• 3+ years leading field, production or operations teams — manufacturing, logistics, film production or research operations all count.
• Organized under pressure: you can run three sites, twenty operators and a hardware issue at the same time.
• Comfortable with hardware and simple tooling (cameras, sensors, checklists, dashboards).
• Fluent in Uzbek or Russian with working English — you will brief operators on the floor and report to an English-speaking engineering team.
• Bonus: experience with data collection, QA or annotation workflows.
