Robotics Engineer

The Role

We are a fast-growing Physical AI startup building the capture hardware and data infrastructure that real-world robots learn from. We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Engineer who enjoys working with hardware, prototyping, and learning by building.

You will build and maintain the capture rigs and sensor setups our data runs on — stereo RGB-D cameras, IMUs and wearable mounts — from the first 3D-printed bracket to a calibrated, field-ready system.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and assemble capture rigs and sensor hardware
• 3D printing and mechanical design for prototypes and functional parts
• Electronics wiring, soldering and hardware debugging
• Integrate sensors and controllers
• Work with depth cameras (integration, calibration, testing)
• Perform system bring-up, testing and troubleshooting
• Research new components, tools and technologies
• Collaborate closely with software and AI engineers
• Work in a startup environment with fast iteration

Who You Are

• Strong hands-on hardware experience
• Experience with 3D printers and rapid prototyping
• Experience with electronics wiring and soldering
• Experience with mechanical assembly
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets
• Comfortable using tools (multimeter, soldering iron, power supply, etc.)
• Curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and experiment
• Bonus: Experience with ROS 1 / ROS 2
• Bonus: Experience with depth cameras (Intel RealSense, ZED, etc.)
• Bonus: Basic understanding of robotics sensors
• Bonus: Prior experience in a startup or robotics lab
